Patagonia Turquoise; Sterling Silver; Cluster Ring
Gorgeous Patagonia turquoise ovals set in oxidized sterling silver ring. I made the ring a size 9 using a heavy “crazy 8” half round. Hand stamped beads. In my Navajo culture, turquoise is known as a protection stone.
My work is all handmade at my bench using sheet silver and wires. I use an acetylene torch to solder the precious metals together. I use small tools to clean and finish my pieces. Buffing and polishing is all done by me. I don’t use ready silver cups, shanks, rounds. I cut all the pieces from a silver sheet; I use mostly 26, 24, 22 gauge silver.
